Danielle Creenaune

B. 1974

Australian artist Danielle Creenaune is a highly accomplished printmaker. Working in the liminal space between abstraction and representation, she explores the feeling of a place over its exactness, expressing a “dialogue between landscape and people, how landscape is perceived through our library of pre-lived experiences”.

In 2015 she represented Australia at the International Print Triennial Krakow, and won the René Carcan International Printmaking Award 2016 1st Mention in Belgium and the Corsair Prize for Innovation at Inkmasters Cairns 2018. Elegant yet minimal, her work is held in public collections including the National Gallery of Australia.
