Adiane Strampp’s work is deeply evocative. Her hazy, indeterminate landscapes are dappled with emotion and memory, using light to evoke feelings of loss, nostalgia and desire. Here, a bruising purple sky filters into lilac light – tension gives way to tranquility.

Strampp has been shortlisted for multiple art awards including the Sulman, Geelong Contemporary, Paul Guest and City of Hobart, among others. Her work is held across public collections, including at Maitland Regional Art Gallery.
