Paintings by Pro Hart come with a current Independent Valuation and a Certificate of Authenticity and prices are open to negotiation. SOLD
Angela Tandori Fine Art is pleased to announce three significant paintings by Pro Hart for private sale. This is a unique opportunity to acquire a selection of major paintings by Pro Hart, one of Australia’s most collected and recognisable artists. On offer are three paintings encompassing Pro Hart’s iconic subject matter and style. Wild Flowers, Pubs and Gambling and the Mask Series depict the stories from the old mining town of Broken Hill where Hart spend most his life.
The first painting available is Singers at the Southern Cross Station. This work originates from the Hart family’s private collection and is amongst one of their most valued and finest pieces. With most of the Pro Hart Estate already sold, paintings like these are becoming rare gems of opportunity. Singer at the Southern Cross Station has been independently valued at $38,000.
The next work on offer - Flower Mural is a beautiful example of Hart’s love of Australian Native flora. Independently valued at $36,000, it is the largest of these floral paintings to be offered for resale making it a premium collector’s choice.
Three B.I.C Men is from Hart’s highly collectible Mask series, drawn from his 15 years of working in the Broken Hill mines. Hart’s ‘Mask’ series includes a reference to Ned Kelly's helmet which is probably the most recognisable motif in Australian art. Three B.I.C. Men has been valued at $21,800.
Purchased directly from the Hart family in the year following Pro’s death in 2006 by a private Melbourne collector, these paintings have only now resurfaced and are available for private acquisition. With a vendor motivated to sell, these works mark a genuine and significant collector’s opportunity. All paintings come with a current Independent Valuation and a Certificate of Authenticity and prices are open to negotiation.
