Anne Hall (b. 1945)

Born in Melbourne in 1945 Anne Hall  was twenty-three when she debuted at South Yarra Gallery in Melbourne to high praise. Alongside Joy Hester and Mirka Mora, Anne Hall forged a compelling female voice in the male dominated world of Australian modern art. Hall has been collected by The National Gallery of Australia, the Ian Potter Museum and the Geelong Gallery.  Her works add a significant female perspective to the canon of Australian modernism.
