Australian artist Chris Bond plays with perception and knowledge. He is known for fabricating and embodying identities through his artistic process, be these organisations, artists, scenarios or writers. Sometimes imagined sometimes real, Bond scrupulously constructs facsimiles of texts - bending the line between fiction, reality and a perfectly spun narrative.
Bond won the Arthur Guy Memorial Painting Prize in 2013 and was a finalist in The Archibald Prize 2016. He has exhibited at Art Basel Hong Kong and The National: New Australian Art, Sydney and is represented in The National Gallery of Victoria, Artbank, Bendigo Art Gallery and more.
