David Bromley, (b. 1960)
Born 1960, David Bromley is an English born, Australian artist. Bromley emerged as a painter in the mid 1980s. His work is highly figurative and is recognised for his two major themes of work. The first theme is his alluring pop inspired female portraits based on models from fashion and film, and the second, his playful and adventuristic children's series that explore concepts of childhood. Bromley's work is represented in collections nationally and internationally including the National Gallery of Victoria.
