Pat Moran’s contributions to Australian art stretch beyond the canvas. Known for her elegant oil paintings of flowers, she also had a passion for pedagogy. Throughout her career, Moran published several guides for budding artists one of which was used as a college textbook, taught at the Victorian Artist Society and even produced educational videos on painting. Australia’s very own Bob Ross, Moran had a genuine adoration for painting - helping hundreds of students illuminate their inner artist. Across her career, she also won many awards including the Alice Bale Overseas Study scholarship and the Yorrick Art Club prize.
