Fabrice Bigot: Alive and Utterly Still
Fabrice Bigot's new Untitled series is alive and utterly still, and considers the strangeness of beauty in nature. Intense and intimate, Fabrice's beautiful work is richly coloured, compact and cleanly lit, teetering at the edge between beauty and devastation, life and death. Preserved by the camera, each petal is cast into eternity. These intimate photographs represent a move away from the artist's earlier, somewhat moodier 'Naked Garden' series towards a much more profound observation of a classic and deeply symbolic subject matter.
