This drawing of two female reclining nudes was sketched during the Blackman familys time spent living in Paris - a time of great creative development for Charles, whose international career was well under way.
According to his eldest son Auguste, Charles met these models during his residency at the Cite des Artes, where Charles was awarded a studio in 1970 to 1971, and one of the main reasons the Blackman family packed up and went to live in Paris for a year. This inspiring work of art is sure to be a treasured part of your collection for years to come.
