This work by photographer David Callow is a celebration of Indigneous culture. Created in collaboration with Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory, it highlights the strength, humour and vitality of this region. Here, Callow's subjects shine - reaching into the past, present and future of Indigenous culture.

Callow's subjects are diverse. For over twenty years, he been an editorial and photojournalist, winning the World Press Gold medal for his work on the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and breaking new ground in sports photography. In 2011, his portraits of Torres Strait Islanders were included in 'Bipotiam', an exhibition at the National Museum of Australia. Striking, clear and poignant, this work will inspire collections of photography and contemporary art, as well as those invested in Indigenous culture.
