Reg Mombassa (a.k.a. Chris O'Doherty) coaxes out the inner adolescent in us all. His work, which brings together the mundane and surreal, dreams up creatures fit for a fever dream. In 'Wounded Monster', Mombassa introduces us to a mythical alligator in the midst of an attack. Plonked in suburbia, is this Monster an angry intruder or hard-going neighbour? A musician, clothing designer and artist, from Patrick White to Elton John, Mombassa's imaginative creations continue to collected widely and worn on tees.
