Best known for his moody twilight studies, Wayne Viney draws upon the painterly potential of the monotype to re-imagine the Romantic tradition. Grounded in real places, his work is nevertheless cut with something transcendental - a yearning for the sublime. 

A successful printmaker and artist, Viney has been a finalist in numerous art awards and is represented at the National Gallery of Australia; Parliament House, Canberra; numerous regional galleries and Charles Sturt University, NSW. This elegant landscape will complement any collection.
